Eduroam eredetileg európai kezdeményezésként indult, de ma már világméretűvé vált. A résztvevők teljes listájával és az európai hierarchiával kapcsolatban további információk a http://www.eduroam.org oldalon találhatóak.

Rendszerkövetelmények

Vezeték nélküli hálózati adapter, támogatott szabványok: IEEE 802.11b/g/n.

WPA2 kompatibilitás (authentikáció: PEAP-MSCHAPv2, titkosítás: AES).
A WiFi hálózat azonosítója (SSID): eduroam
A konfiguráláshoz javasolt az eduroam installer használata. A következő helyről tölthető le:

Csatlakozási adatok:

Hallgatóknak: A belépéshez szükséges azonosító neptunkod@net.sze.hu formájú, az induló jelszó a születési dátum (nyolc karakter hosszan, elválasztás nélkül) és a Neptun rendszerben elérhető Saját adatok/Személyes adatok lapon látható OM-kód összefűzéséből keletkezett számsor (Például: xy123z Neptun kód, 1980. január 7-i születési dátum és 12345678901 OM-kód esetén az azonosító xy123z@net. sze.hu, a jelszó pedig 1980010712345678901).

Connection details

For students: The ID required for login is in the form neptuncode@net.sze.hu, the initial password is your date of birth (eight characters long, without spaces) and the number sequence generated by concatenating the OM code available in the Neptun system on the My Data/Personal Data tab (For example: xy123z Neptun code, date of birth January 7, 1980, and OM code 12345678901, the ID is xy123z@net.sze.hu, and the password is 1980010712345678901).
