Error reporting system
If you experience any technical problems in your room (e.g., heating, electricity, plumbing, damaged furniture, internet connection, etc.), please report the problem on the official online platform at help.sze.hu. When submitting your report, please describe the problem in detail and, if possible, attach photos so that we can identify and resolve the problem more effectively.
Study rooms
The study rooms in the building are available to residents 24 hours a day, providing a flexible, quiet, and uninterrupted environment for individual or small-group study.
The rooms may be used exclusively for study purposes, and a maximum of three persons may be present at any one time, thereby supporting focused work.
Organising or holding events, as well as the consumption of alcohol, is strictly prohibited in the study rooms. It is also forbidden to remove furniture from the rooms.
Common room
The common rooms are important venues for dormitory community life, where students can hold gatherings, social meetings, or even work on group projects.
Use of these rooms requires prior reservation via the dormitory.sze.hu website, no later than 12:00 on the day preceding the booking.
The common rooms are supervised by the Dormitory Committee, ensuring proper use of the facilities and compliance with community rules.
Kitchen
On every corridor, there is a communal kitchen equipped with electric heating plates, stove and microwave ovens, but there are no other kitchen utensils and tools. Kettles and coffee makers are not used in the rooms for safety reasons, only in the kitchen.
Students are required to clean the kitchens after each use.
Laundry room
Several laundry rooms are available to residents within the dormitory premises. Laundry facilities can be found on the 1st floor of the Multifunctional Building (K1), on the 2nd floor of Buildings K2, K3, and K4 of the Hegedűs Gyula Dormitory, as well as on the 1st and 3rd floors of Building S in the Off-Campus Dormitory.
Each facility is equipped with multiple washing machines and dryers to ensure convenient and efficient laundry care, which can be operated using coins.
Music room
The music room is located on the ground floor of Building K1 and is available to all dormitory residents. The key to the room can be collected at the reception at any time, allowing flexible use for practice or group music sessions. The room provides opportunities for both instrumental practice and musical recreation.
Gym
Content is currently under construction.
Rentables
Various tools that make everyday life more convenient can be borrowed at the dormitory reception desks, and these are available free of charge to all residents. The equipment may be used by any dormitory resident, so it is not necessary to bring all such items personally.
Items available for borrowing include, among others, vacuum cleaners, irons, and hair dryers, which provide practical assistance in daily life.
Access control system
The Halls of Residence are equipped with fingerprint-based access control gates to ensure that only authorized persons can enter the buildings. This system helps prevent unauthorized access and ensures maximum safety and security for all students living in the dormitory.
To enter the dormitory, the use of a fingerprint and a student card is mandatory. The fingerprint will be registered after arrival.
