Accommodation Fee

The accommodation fee is intended to cover the costs of providing student accommodation and maintaining the dormitory services, including the provision of common areas and equipment. The fee includes accommodation, the use of common areas, network and internet services, and the costs of ongoing maintenance. The accommodation fee does not include meals or room cleaning; however, restaurants are available near every building.

Single-occupancy accommodation is not available in the dormitory. The dormitory offers only double and triple rooms.

In the 2025/2026 academic year, the accommodation fee is HUF 40,000 per person per month in all dormitories. The exact fee and any changes are set out in the currently valid Organisational and Operational Regulations System of Requirements Applicable to Students Compensation and Allowances Regulation.

The student pays the first month’s fee when applying to the university.

From the second month onward, the dormitory fee is posted in the NEPTUN system, where the student can pay by bank card.

The Residence Hall Student Accommodation Agreement and the Organisational and Operational Regulations of the Halls of Residence state that the student is obliged to pay 1 + 4 months of dormitory fees, regardless of whether they leave the dormitory.

Rules on payment obligations

  • One semester consists of 5 months, during which we provide accommodation in the dormitory.
  • If a student signs an academic-year accommodation agreement, they must pay the full semester fee in accordance with the regulations.
  • Students may decide by 15 September whether they will stay in the dormitory or move out.
  • If they decide to stay, their place for the academic year is considered reserved for the entire semester, and students must pay the accommodation fee for the full semester (5 months), even if they wish to move out during the semester for any reason.
